Document describes recommendations on establishing and developing academic programs at Southwest State College.

This document gives the mission statement and guidelines for opening a new state college in southwestern Minnesota. This documents does not give a creator, but it was apparently created by a state department or committee, probably within the Department of Education.

This report summarizes the analysis of population trends in college-age youth in Minnesota. Evidence convinced the Liaison Committee that provisions be made for a marked increase in college enrollments.

This binder contains the minutes of meetings held by the committee as it decided where Southwest Minnesota State College would be located.

Roy C. Prentis informs Charles F. Mourin, O. Meredith Wilson, Erling O. Johnson and Robert J. Keller that the Granite Falls College Committee has asked for permission to keep a copy of a presentation made by the Granite Falls College Committee to the Site Selection Committee for the proposed state college in southwestern Minnesota.

Roy C. Prentis tells Erling O. Johnson, Robert J. Keller and Meredith Wilson he is enclosing materials received from Charles Mourin that were allegedly passed around Granite Falls by the Granite Falls College Committee.

James. W. Clark writes to Elmo Volstad to announce an award for industrial development activities is to be awarded to Granite Falls.
