Description
Conversation with Dr. Joseph Rossillon, Director of Instructional Resources, about initial ideas and plans for campus beautification, conservation, and landscaping. Tree planting and groundskeeping are discussed along with the need for trained staff to perform the work. Western Community Action is cited as an agency that could aid in providing locally trained people to fill positions. The potential for using some acreage as experimentation and demonstration areas for research purposes by state agricultural or forestry entities and/or academic units of the college such as the biology department is mentioned.
